Grad Studies Direction, Relevancy: Conference Theme

Montreal - Participants at the 2013 CAGS Conference will be looking at options for the future of Canadian graduate studies when the event takes place here November 3-6, 2013.

Maclean’s political columnist Paul Wells will deliver his keynote on how graduate education advocates should be engaging with policy makers and the media.

University of Alberta Provost Carl Amrhein, has been serving as visiting executive with the Conference Board of Canada – with a special focus on global issues and the impact that they will have on Canadian post-secondary institutions in the coming decades. Conference participants will benefit from this work as he leads a plenary session on the economic, political and policy-related strategies for becoming more global in scope and impact.
